CPU / TPU Universal Adhesive Bonding Agent Solvent Based Clear One Component

A clear one-component solvent-based bonding agent specifically formulated for castable polyurethane elastomers and thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers (PU's and TPU's). This heavy metals-free product offers superior bonding performance with excellent environmental resistance.

1. Thoroughly clean metal surfaces to remove all oil, grease, and dirt
2. Grit blast surfaces with steel to achieve roughness >15 µm
3. For aluminum surfaces, use aluminum oxide as abrasive
4. Clean substrate again to remove blasting residue dust
5. Apply specified surface treatments (phosphatizing, galvanizing, chromate conversion, or KTL) if required

Brushing: Apply undiluted for small areas. For large areas, dilute with MEK for improved flow.

Spraying: Use HVLP gun with 1.5 Bar air pressure and 1-1.5mm nozzle. Dilute 50-100% v/v.

Roller Coating: Dilute to 35-45 seconds on DIN 4 or Ford 4 cup at 25°C. High boiling solvents like MPA may be needed.

Dry film for 10-30 minutes at room temperature. For faster drying, use forced air at ≤100°C for 5 minutes. Avoid temperatures above 100°C to prevent pre-cure.

Applied parts can be stored for up to 30 days before final curing.

Colorless film with thickness between 15-25 µm. For severe environments or dynamic fatigue applications, use ≥25 µm for optimal performance (no edge-failure after 400 hour salt-spray tests).

Keep containers tightly closed and away from heat sources. Storage below 10°C extends shelf life.
