Product Description

Solvent Based Mandrel Release Agent Lubekote 9808 is a fluorine series release agent with excellent performance for hose mandrels. This release agent contains no oily substances, ensuring no surface pollution on mold mandrels or hoses. It delivers superior demolding effects with smooth rubber inner layers free from defects like pitting or trachoma.

Ideal for rubber, nylon, plastic, iron, and aluminum mandrels
Precipitates easily - requires stirring to milky liquid before application
Ready for direct use without dilution (can be diluted 0.5-1 times if needed)
Creates oil-free, dense PTFE film on mandrel surfaces
Maintains excellent surface finish on produced parts

Application Instructions

Clean mandrel surface thoroughly, removing any silicone oil or dirt using organic solvents
Apply Lubekote 9808 with a cotton brush - allow solvent to evaporate between coats
For automated spraying, use cotton cloth or sponge to ensure even distribution
Repeat application before second and third vulcanization for optimal results
Subsequent productions require only single application
