High Quality Adhesive for Rubber Car Interior Trim

State: Liquid

Shelf life: 24 months

Surface Preparation

Remove all oil, grease and dirt from metal surface
Grit blast surface to achieve roughness >15 µm
Use aluminum oxide abrasive for aluminum surfaces
Clean substrate to remove blasting residue dust
Optional pre-treatments: phosphatizing, galvanizing, chromate conversion, or KTL

Application Methods

Agitation: Stir before application to prevent settling

Brushing: Apply undiluted for small areas; dilute with MEK for large areas

Spraying: Use HVLP gun (1.5 Bar pressure, 1-1.5mm nozzle) with 50-100% v/v dilution

Roller coating: Dilute to 35-45 seconds on DIN 4/Ford 4 cup at 25°C

Drying & Curing

Dry film for 10-30 minutes at room temperature
For faster drying: use forced air for 5 minutes at ≤100°C
Avoid temperatures above 100°C to prevent pre-cure
Applied parts can be stored for 30 days before curing

Application Layer Specifications

Thickness: 15-25 µm (use ≥25 µm for severe environments)

Appearance: Colorless film

Produces bonds with no edge-failure after 400 hour salt-spray tests
