Product Description

9421A is a semi-permanent water-based release system designed for moulding operations when non-transfer of release agent, high temperature stability, high degree of slip, and abrasion resistance of the release film are important.

Application Instructions

The mold should be thoroughly cleaned before application. All cleaning and release agent application should be performed in a well ventilated area.

Apply Lubekote release agent to clean, dry cotton cloth
Gently wipe over mold surface covering approximately 0.5 m² area (vigorous rubbing not required)
Repeat on adjacent areas with good overlap for complete coverage
Continue until mold is completely coated
Allow 15 minutes between coats for film curing
Apply total of 4 coats
Allow final film to cure for at least 30 minutes at room temperature before molding (heat curing at 60°C for 15 minutes improves durability)

Reapply one coat when release becomes hesitant, following the same application method.
