Product Description

Lubekote Composite Release Agent - Easy Application, Low Odor, No Mold Build-up

Application Field

Lubekote composite release agent is specially formulated for epoxy, polyester, vinyl resin, phenolic resin and other thermosetting resins. This advanced polymeric resin solvent creates a hard, durable film that enables multiple demolding operations without contaminating the mold surface. Particularly effective for products without gelcoat.

Application Instructions

The mold should be thoroughly cleaned before application. All cleaning and release agent application should be performed in a well ventilated area.

Apply Lubekote release agent to clean, dry cotton cloth
Gently wipe over mold surface covering approximately 0.5 m² (vigorous rubbing not required)
Repeat on adjacent areas with good overlap for complete coverage
Continue until entire mold is coated
Allow 15 minutes between coats for film curing
Apply 4 total coats following steps 1-5
Allow final film to cure for at least 30 minutes at room temperature before molding (longer cure or heat curing at 60°C for 15 minutes improves durability)

Reapply one coat when release becomes hesitant.
