Industrial Liquid Mold Release Agent For Polyurethane Slush Molding Process

Slush molding, also known as coating molding, is a process for molding hollow products. This method is used to create hollow soft products such as toys and car dashboards. The advantages of slush molding include:

• Low equipment cost
• High production speed
• Simple process control

The commonly used plastic lining material is polyvinyl chloride (PVC). During molding, the plastic paste is poured into an open hollow mold until reaching specified capacity. The mold is heated before or after loading, causing the paste plastic near the inner wall to gel. When the gel reaches predetermined thickness, excess liquid is poured out, then heated to melt, and finally cooled before stripping from the mold.

1. Thoroughly clean the mold before application
2. Perform mold cleaning and release agent application in a well-ventilated area
3. Apply a thin coat at process temperature (recommend at least two initial coats)
4. Allow short drying time before production
5. Reapply light coat when necessary
